HikaShop Support Agent

The browser of the support team of HikaShop, the e-commerce extension for Joomla and WordPress made by Hikari Software.

What it does

When a merchant asks our support for help with their shop (on our forum or by email), our support assistant opens the pages of that shop they point us to, the way a support agent would in a browser: a product page, the cart, the checkout. It reads them to understand the problem and takes screenshots for the support ticket.

• It only visits sites whose owner asked us for help, one ticket at a time, a few pages each.
• It does not crawl, index, or collect content for training, and does not log in, buy or submit forms on a live shop.

How to recognise it

Every request is signed with Web Bot Auth (HTTP Message Signatures, RFC 9421): the Signature-Agent header names https://agent.hikashop.com, and the public key is at /.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory. It browses from 51.254.213.175 and 2001:41d0:305:2100::1:66df.
